LEA Projects Cluster Takes Center Stage: A Milestone Achievement

We’re thrilled to announce that the LEA Projects Cluster, led by Privanova, has been prominently featured on the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) website! This significant recognition underscores the pivotal role this collaborative initiative plays in the global battle against transnational organized crime (TOC).

A Collaborative Effort for a Safer Digital Future

The LEA Projects Cluster fosters knowledge sharing, joint research, and policy advocacy within the law enforcement community. This collaborative environment nurtures innovation and the development of practical solutions to combat complex criminal activities. SafeHorizon, a key project within this cluster, exemplifies such innovation.

SafeHorizon: A Powerful Toolbox for Law Enforcement

SafeHorizon empowers law enforcement agencies (LEAs), emergency response teams (CERTs), and computer security incident response teams (CSIRTs) with a robust toolbox. This toolkit comprises enhanced and under-development open-source solutions, designed for seamless implementation, maintenance, and adaptation.

The project is specifically designed to disrupt Cybercrime-as-a-Service (CaaS) models. SafeHorizon achieves this by:

  • Harnessing Intelligence: Collecting data from internet-facing services (clear, deep, and dark web), public leaks and dumps, and datasets from LEAs and security providers.
  • Leveraging Machine Learning (ML): Identifying correlations within this data and extracting actionable evidence for legal proceedings.

A Shared Victory: Building a Safer Digital Future

SafeHorizon’s inclusion on the UNODC website signifies the project’s potential to make a substantial impact in the global fight against cybercrime. This recognition also highlights the collective strength of the LEA Projects Cluster.

As a SafeHorizon partner, you are an integral part of this collaborative effort towards a more secure digital future. Together, we can disrupt cybercrime operations and create a safer environment for all.
