About the event

The Research and Science Conference 2024/2025 by CEPOL will focus on High-Risk Criminal Networks (HRCN), addressing their growing socio-economic impact and links to corruption, drug trafficking, money laundering, and organised crime. Recognising the role of scientific research in tackling these threats, the conference will bring together academics, researchers, policymakers, and law enforcement experts to discuss trends, challenges, and best practices. As an EMPACT (European Multidisciplinary Platform Against Criminal Threats) priority, the event aims to enhance multidisciplinary collaboration and improve CEPOL training strategies to strengthen the EU’s response to HRCN.
